- Step 1: Move the video you want to trim to Finder or Desktop, then select the video. (You need to assure that the type of this video must be H.264-encoded .mp4 or .mov, or other types that can work on Quick Look. - Windows Media may not be supported). After selecting the video, press Spacebar on the keyboard. By doing this, you will have a preview of your video.
