What is the Mac OS X VMware Image?
Mac OS X VMware Image basically includes all the necessary files for the installation of OS X operating system on a Windows PC. The image, however, is clean and not difficult to install it. The only thing that you need is to make sure Winrar or 7zip (we also provide a download link) is already installed on your computer because you will need it to extract the macOS Mojave VMware image.

What is Patch Tool?
You will not be able to setup VMware Mac OS X by default due to VMware Workstation. The Patch Tool is designed to make it possible to run macOS on VMware simply. The fact is that this tool is not only compatible with macOS but also Linux and Windows.
Follow the guidance below to Install macOS Mojave 10.14 on VMware on Windows
Step 1: Extract the macOS Mojave Virtual Image
As aforementioned, you will need Winrar or 7Zip software and the macOS Mojave 10.14 virtual image file (.vmdk) . You can scroll up and find links above to download them all.
Extract Virtual Image File (RAR file)
Head out to the folder containing the virtual image file, and right-click on Rar file (or Part1.rar). Select “Extract Here.”
Step 2: Install the VMWare Player
Access the provided link and download VMware and install it in your PC.

Step 3: Install Patch Tool
In this step, you need to access the Patch Tool folder. Then, right click on “win-install.cmd”. Choose “Run as Administrator”.
Step 4: Create a Virtual machine on VMware
Launch the installed VMware player and hit “create a new virtual machine”.
You will see a virtual machine wizard appears. Select to install the operating system later from the options and click on “Next”. Next up, choose the macOS 10.14 as Guest operating system. Hit the “Next” button.

Afterward, give a name for the virtual machine and specify the location to store it. This is known as the VMX folder. Then, hit the “Next” button. Next up, enter the storage space to be allocated to the virtual machine. This value is recommended to be set to 40GB by default and it is not necessary to modify it since it will be deleted in the following steps. Select “Store virtual disk as a single file” and click “Next”. Verify everything and click on “Finish”.
Step 5: Edit the Virtual Machine
To do this, launch VMware and select “macOS Mojave 10.14” . Click on "Edit the virtual machine"
Select the Memory tab and set 50% – 65% of your RAM
Set the CPU to 50% - 70%. Click “OK” for the customization to take effect
Then, choose the virtual "Hard Disk" In the list of devices. Click on “Remove” button.
Then click "Add".
Next, tap on Hard Disk on the list of devices then choose “SATA” à “Use an Existing disk” to create a new virtual disk on VMware,
Select the disk by using the browse button to open the location where the “macOS Mojave 10.14.vmdk” file is stored and click on “Finish”.

Step 6: Editing the VMX File
The VMX file is the configuration of the VMware Virtual Machine. To edit it, open the macOS 10.14 folder where you stored it (VMX folder in step 4). If you did not specify its location, look in Documents\virtual machines.
Right click on the VMX file and choose “Open with”. Choose “More Apps”. From the list of apps that will be seen, choose “Notepad” and press Enter.
This will open the VMX file in Notepad. At the bottom; add the code:
smc.version = "0". Save the changes by clicking on “Ctrl+S”.
Step 7: Play macOS Mojave
Start the VMware and tap on “play virtual machine” , and create a new account.
Then, the macOS Mojave will be installed.
Step 8: Install VMware Tool
To do this, click "Player" , then hit “Removable devices” - “CD/DVD” - “Setting” then launch the “VM Tool.iso” file. Next, check the “connected” button and click “OK”.
Installation of VMware tool will need time to operate. Next, you can hit "Install VMware Tool" . Then, you need to activate VMware system extensions by clicking on “Open Security Preferences” - Click on the “Allow” button.
Hit the “Restart” button to restart the virtual machine.
